It was a very long process to get our soaps “just right.” It all began back when Phil was in the home repair business. The work was terribly hard on his hands. Daily work took its toll on the skin and made Phil's hands rough. Store-bought soaps and lotions simply didn't do the job smoothing out those rough spots.

We diligently researched basic ingredients to soothe and condition the skin. Needless to say, some of our early attempts at making a product were somewhat pitiful. However, long and hard work eventually produced a product that friends and family began requesting.

Unlike commercial soaps with added chemicals, our soaps are nondrying and actually help prevent dryness, leaving the skin smooth and silky. These soaps moisturize and heal the skin. They're made with the finest coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil and essential oils to give a beautiful and pleasing scent.

Our basic but efficient process helps to keep these all-natural products at a very reasonable price.

Why glycerin?

Glycerin is a byproduct of the soap-making process. Glycerin is ideal for dry skin. The problem with glycerin is that it is valuable. Glycerin is used in over four hundred different applications, from cosmetics to explosives to making rubber gloves easier to put on.

Since glycerin is so useful, it is removed from the soap-making process and sold for other purposes. The reason “store soaps” are so dry is because the natural skin softener glycerin has been removed and detergents added to take its place.

Our soaps are glycerin rich with no detergents. When people try our soap, the first thing they notice is the rich, thick lather. The second thing they notice is how their skin feels – soft and clean.
